Nissim Picard (N.P.)

Nissim is an EU law researcher, working on regulatory cooperation in the digital sector.

His research interests include EU procedural and administrative law, EU digital laws, and EU constitutional law. 

Before starting a PhD, he worked for three years at the Brussels Bar in regulatory (Belgian and EU), state aid and competition, as well as Belgian public law.

Career history

Before starting a PhD, Nissim worked for three years at the Brussels Bar in regulatory (Belgian and EU), state aid and competition, as well as Belgian public law. In this capacity, he advised and acted on behalf of public authorities before the CJEU, the Belgian Constitutional Court and the Council of State.

He studied at the College of Europe (LL.M in EU Law) and at the Université libre de Bruxelles and has been a trainee at the Court of justice of the European Union and at the legal service of the European Parliament.
