Want to talk?
In light of Orange the World, the (inter)national campaign to end violence against women and girls, Omnium and the Sexual Safety Programme invite you to an open conversation about how we experience sexual safety — on the streets, in public spaces, and in daily life.
With the recent news about femicide, street harassment, and rape in the Netherlands, many of us are reflecting on what safety means — and how it shapes the way we move through public spaces. Maybe you’ve felt unsafe or watched a friend feel unsafe. Or maybe you’ve become more aware of how your presence can affect others on the street, even when you mean no harm. This evening provides a space to talk about those experiences — how they impact us all, and how we can respond, together.
Location and accessibility
- Location: Tapijnkazerne 21- physically accessible, no accessible toilet
- Time: 19.30
Join!
Remember, no one has to do everything — but everyone can do something. We look forward to celebrating Maastricht University’s first Green Dot Day with you.
Do you want to take another Green Dot today? Sign up for an event and invite a friend to join you.
Please note: During Green Dot Day, photos and videos will be taken to capture the event. These materials will be used only for Maastricht University communication purposes, specifically to promote Green Dot through the website and social media channels. The photographers and videographers will be clearly recognisable, and everyone will have the option to decline being photographed or filmed at any time.
