Samir Abdullayev (S.E.O.)
Samir is a doctoral researcher in Marketing at Maastricht University's School of Business and Economics (SBE). He focuses on researching the application of Extended Reality (XR) technologies and Artificial Intelligence (AI) online shopping environments; how shoppers use virtual fitting rooms, how the technologies are used to trigger and diminish impulsive buying behaviors, and the effect they have on the overall customer journey and service provision.
Before starting his PhD, Samir completed a Master's degree in Marketing Management at Rotterdam School of Management, and a Bachelor's Degree in Communication & Media at Erasmus University. Alongside previous studies, Samir worked as a university magazine journalist for three years.
