Best Science Abstract of an Early-stage Researcher Award for Irma Everink
On 4–7 October 2016 the 5th European Nursing Congress 'Caring for older people - How Can We Do the Right Things Right?' is held in Rotterdam.
The Program Committee of this Congress rewards the best Science abstract of Early-stage Researchers. Early-stage Researchers are researchers in the first four years (full-time equivalent) of their research activity, including the period of research training.
The winner of the award was Irma Everink, PhD candidate in the CAPHRI Research Line Ageing and Long-Term Care. She was selected by the Program Committee for this award for her abstract on ‘Effects of an integrated care pathway within geriatric rehabilitation: preliminary results’. At the award ceremony on Wednesday 5 October, Irma received a certificate plus € 500.
Judging criteria for the Early-stage Researcher Award were:
- Quality of the submitted science abstract
- Quality of research methods
- Innovative research topic
- Public and patient involvement
