Aalt Bast new dean Campus Venlo
Following consultations with the deans of the faculties participating in the development of UM’s activities in Venlo, the Executive Board has appointed Aalt Bast as the new dean of Campus Venlo. Aalt Bast, professor in the Department of Pharmacology and Toxicology, is presently working with the NUTRIM and CARIM research schools within FHML. Bast will begin on a part-time basis during an introduction period starting on 1 September, after which he will formally accept the position in Venlo as of 1 January 2017.
The Executive Board is very grateful to Louis Boon, current dean of UM's Venlo campus, for all his efforts over the years, and wishes Aalt Bast every success in his new role in Venlo.
