GSBE Seminar Hannes Datta (Tilburg University)

Hannes Datta will give a seminar based on his recent JM paper on web scraping. The seminar will discuss the ins and outs of web scraping for a non-technical audience. 

Hannes Datta is an Associate Professor at Tilburg University. He develops advanced econometric models that guide managerial decision-making and inform public policy in the area of digital media consumption (e.g., on streaming services, on digital TV). He has substantial experience working with large data sets and cloud computing. Apart from his interest in new media, he also works on projects in the area of retailing.
