AgTech7 Deep-Dive Workshop

At IDS we are responsible for a module called “Food Value chain and Food system”, which aims to provide an understanding of the global food system, food supply and value chain. We will also explore how food system functions and how it impacts the environment and society. Lastly, we will cover technological innovations that increase transparency or change economic and social power.

 

 

AgTech 7 is an Erasmus Plus project with the title 'A Knowledge Alliance of Agribusinesses, Academia and Business Angels for Disruptive Farm-to-Fork Agri-Tech Training'. The AgTech7 project will develop training material for students and entrepreneurs interested in the application of technology to the agrifood system. We at the Institute of Data Science (IDS) at Maastricht University are working with six other partners across Europe to develop this training material which will consist of seven modules covering a range of topics from entrepreneurship and finance to the application of AI to agricultural production.
