Saumya Bareja wil give a short introduction about his role at Procter & Gamble (P&G) and the needs of an IP Strategist/Manager Asia (in addition to a Patent Attorney) for a large company like P&G. He will then discuss how P&G and other companies are enforcing their IP rights on E-commerce channels in Asia, what IP tools are best suited for the job and why companies need to strategically think about crafting their IP Strategy around it.
Saumya Bareja is a Chemical Engineer, MBA, LLB and Indian Patent Agent with over 16 years of experience in the field of IP. This includes 4 years of IP work experience in a Service company providing IP service to many multinational companies and subsequently about 12 years of IP work experience in a multinational company's R&D department as an IP Strategist.
