Maastricht Monnet lecture by former Greek Finance Minister
On Thursday, 11 May 2017, CERiM will host George Papaconstantinou, the former Greek minister of Finance who found himself in the midst of a storm as the budgetary and financial crisis hit the European Union.
George Papaconstantinou will give the final Jean Monnet Lecture of the Academic year. His memoirs of this six year period were published last year in a book called ‘Game Over’, which has received excellent reviews and can be described as a political thriller but it is not a piece of fiction.
