Globalisation is urbanisation. The majority of humanity is now living in cities. This globalised world is based upon a space of flows, with the cities as nodal points. This is why the 19th-century system of nation states and territorial policies is put under pressure. In this lecture Corijn explains why we have to think of urbanity as a post-national political project.
