W.J.H. Hermans
Wesley works as a Postdoctoral Researcher at the department of Human Biology. He is part of the M3-research group led by Prof. Luc van Loon.
In continuation of his PhD, where he investigated the anabolic response of protein-rich wholefoods, he now studies the role of plant-derived proteins for muscle health.
Career history
Wesley obtained a BSc in Heath Sciences and a MSc in Human Movement Sciences. After the internship in his masters, he started working as a research assistant in the M3-research unit led by Prof. Luc van Loon. After that he started a PhD trajectory in the same group, which he finished in 2024.
Currently he is working as a Postdoctoral researcher.
