Student Prize selected on the basis of an exceptionally good Science Participation (WESP) internship and excellent study results
Bachelor's students in Medicine do not write a thesis. We are therefore pleased to nominate a student for this award who graduated with honours and achieved the best results across the entire study programme. The nominated student for the Master's in Medicine was selected on the basis of an exceptionally good Science Participation (WESP) internship and excellent study results.
Nina's elevator pitch
I've always been driven by the mix of science and hands-on clinical experience. After completing a Bachelor in Biomedical Sciences, I started Medicine to build on my scientific background through patient care. My student job as transplant technician, along with participating in dissection courses, deepened my understanding of clinical practice and gave me the chance to see the human body up close. From feeling slightly lost behind a laptop during COVID, to puzzling over anatomy classes, to navigating my first clinical rotations — it’s been a steep but rewarding learning curve. I’m looking forward to starting my research internship during my Master’s.
Congratulations Nina
