Protest 20 May 2025 - Update 2
Since early afternoon, the Faculty of Law building is fully accessible again. Between 13.30 and 14.00, pro-Palestinian protesters were present at the entrance to the FASoS building. It is uncertain whether further protests are in the pipeline. The UM approach remains clear and has been shared with the protesters: we give space to demonstrations where we can, and at the same time we want to safeguard the primary task of the university, which is to provide education and research. In all of this, the safety of those involved is paramount and completely blocking a building is unacceptable to us.
