Milena Pavlova appointed professor Health Economics and Equity
Milena Pavlova has been appointed as Full professor - Specialized remit, chair Health Economics and Equity at the Department of Health Services Research. Her future research will focus on fostering the equity insights into the health economics field, including the appraisal of decision-making behind the allocation of healthcare resources, services and products. She will also add to the international orientation of CAPHRI and the Value-based Health Care program, by exploring accessibility and affordability problems in the health systems of high- and low-income countries. She will remain closely involved in teaching subjects such health economics, financial management and health technological innovations.
