Seminar “Financiële steun voor kinderen in grensoverschrijdende situaties: lessen uit het verleden en uitdagingen voor de toekomst”

During this seminar, speakers from academia, policy-making and implementation practice will discuss the lessons that 125 years of cross-border social security and current practice offer for the future of European coordination of family-related social security. Drawing in part on recent Dutch proposals for simplifying the European coordination rules, the seminar will discuss how procedures can be streamlined, cooperation between competent authorities can be strengthened and legal certainty for cross-border families can be improved.
