PAS-Festival 2019

PAS Festival 2019

Studium Generale is organising the sixth edition of the free PAS Festival. Once again, Maastricht University is opening its doors to anyone with an inquiring mind who wants to be treated to an adventure-packed evening. You can choose from over 60 activities per evening. Delve into the latest research at the university and treat yourself to concerts, theatre, street theatre, dance, art and demos.

The opening will take place in the Auditorium of the university, Minderbroedersberg 4-6, on Friday 6 September at 19.00. The opening word from our rector, Rianne Letschert, is followed by a short lecture in Dutch (see information in Dutch).

After this lecture we ask everybody to join the musical PAS-parade that starts at 19:30 at the top of the Minderbroedersberg and will bring everybody to the different locations, where the festival will start upon arrival. The music for this parade is composed by the Syrian musician Marc Mahfoud. The objects carried in the parade are from Nightscape Productions.

The festival hub is located at the Student Service Centre at Bonnefantenstraat 2, where you can pick up a free festival guide to help plan your evening. But of course you can also just wander about and let things take you by surprise!
