Jawhar presents folk-soul in a completely individual style, which is somewhere between theArabic chaâbi (Tunisian ‘soul’ music often played at weddings) and the dreamy music of Nick Drake.

Following his debut When rainbows call, my rainbows fly – acclaimed by the press as “a breathtaking work by a song-writing prodigy” (les Inrockuptibles) – Jawhar is returning to his country of origin: Tunisia. He revisits his roots (and native tongue) and expresses himself in a new way this evening.
