Campus Venlo introduction days
We would like to give you a warm welcome at Campus Venlo. During these days you will receive the necessary practical information in several information sessions, but of course it is not all about work. There will be ample opportunity to get to know the city and your fellow students during various informal activities.
- Participation in the introduction days is compulsory
- A detailed version of the programme will be sent to you upon registration

Registration
Please register for the Campus Venlo introduction days by filling out the registration form. It is also possible to pre-order some unique Campus Venlo merchandise.

Additional information
Start of the academic year
The semester will start on 5 February 2018. Your detailed schedules will be made available on 19 January 2018 through the Student Portal and https://timetable.maastrichtuniversity.nl
UM Cards
Once your status is on approved a UM card will be issued. There is no need for you to go Maastricht to collect your UM card. You will receive it at Campus Venlo during the introduction days.

Bring your portable device
During the first day of the intro you will get connected to the Wi-Fi and other e-facilities. So don’t forget to bring all your portable devices which need to be connected!
Lunch and dinner
During the whole course of the introduction days lunch will be served in the form of sandwiches. Thursday we will serve pizza as dinner + ice cold beers (18+ only).
Please inform us on any dietary restrictions before Wednesday 24-01-17
Warm sweater day
Friday 02-02-18 the UM introduced warm sweater day. Hundreds-of-thousands of Dutch people will turn their thermostat lower to combat energy waste as part of the Warm Sweater Day, a national day of energy conservation. Maastricht University (UM) is participating for the second year in a row.
