33e Maastrichts Fiscaal Symposium

Seminar entitled “The Role of Human Rights Law in International Responses to Cultural Appropriation.” This session will be delivered by Dr Ayla do Vale Alves (Adelaide University) and will explore how international human rights law can respond to cultural appropriation and support community control.

The forthcoming GLaw-Net conference (to be held in Maastricht on 22 and 23 June 2026) will bring together the researchers from the participating institutions of the sectorplan group ‘ Transformative Effects of Globalisation in Law ’ to discuss their work in progress and establish potential synergies.
