The second half of 2022 gave opportunities to give attention to Cost-Conscious Healthcare in different communities. At the AMEE 2022 (https://amee.org/conferences/amee-2022) we presented our experiences with the CoCoCare training for European residents in Neurology to a public of teachers and researchers in health professions education (Majoie, Verstegen, Evers & van Maastrigt: European Guideline Education and Cost-Conscious Care) .

On the fourth of October we discussed future directions of research during the symposium ‘Onderzoek naar Onderwijs in de Zorg’  (Research of Education in healthcare) with educational experts, researchers and healthcare professionals in Maastricht.

And on December 7 we talked about the importance of educating residents and healthcare professionals on guideline development and Cost-Conscious Care in our symposium during the MMV conference for Dutch medical specialists (Majoie, Visser, Ulubas and Verstegen: Europees richtlijn onderwijs en kostenbewuste zorg).
