"No Snooze, You Lose Sleep Problems After Stroke and Avenues for Treatment"
This thesis investigated the impact of stroke on sleep quality and quantity. After discovering that stroke survivors at the chronic phase of stroke still encounter sleep problems, different digital treatments (ASMR and digital Cognitive Behaviour Therapy) were tested for their efficacy. ASMR was shown to improve mood and relaxation in a population of individuals without stroke and digital CBT improved subjective sleep quality in stroke survivors.
