Laboratories

The laboratories of Microscopy CORE Lab are located at Universiteitssingel 50 Maastricht.

1. Room temperature sample preparation laboratory: Resin embedding, ultramicrotomy, immunolabelling and negative staining (location: G0.207).
2. ML2 wet laboratory: Culturing and cryo-preparation: Vitrification (High Pressure Freezing, Vitrobot and Vitrojet plunge and jet freezing, freeze-substitution and cryo-ultramicrotomy, and Corrsight spinning disc cryo-fluorescence microscope) (location: G0.203 and G0.205).
3. ML2 Microscopes rooms: Scios/Aquilos cryo-FIB/SEM, Tecnai Arctica cryo-TEM, Nikon Eclipse Two Photon, Zeiss Axio-Observer and NP ct-dSPIM Light sheet (locations: G0.211 and G0.219).
4. Microscopes area: Tecnai Spirit T12 TEMs , Jeol JSM-IT200 SEM , Nuance spectroscopy microscope (location: G0.207).
5. STED ML1 room (location: G0.209).
6. MultiPhoton Animal D1 room (location: G0.201).
7. Data processing room (location: G0.202).
