Expert Lectures on International Trade Law
The joint GlawNet and IGIR ‘Expert Lectures on International Trade Law’ aims at giving students, Ph.D. candidates, and Faculty members the opportunity to discuss the most current topics of international trade law with experts on the field from various universities and institutions from abroad. Experts will give a lecture on a specific topic followed by a Q&A session open to all participants.
The first series will take place online. For the first session of our Expert Lectures on International Trade Law, we will have the following experts presenting:
- Dr. Henok Asmelash, Lecturer at the University of Birmingham: ‘Ten Years of WTO Jurisprudence on Renewable Energy Support Measures’, 11 May 2022, 14h.
- Professor Edoardo Stoppioni, Professor of Public International Law at the University of Strassbourg: ‘The Role of General International Law in the WTO Dispute Settlement – a Critical Analysis,’ 25 May 2022, 14h.
- Dr. Johanna Jacobsson, Assistant Professor at the IE University School of Law: ‘Liberalization of Service Trades by the EU and Federal Entities,’ 2 June 2022, 14h.
