Feel the Chemistry - Health challenge
What role can science and innovation play in solving today’s global challenges? Celebrating 80 years of science and innovation, the tenants at Brightlands Chemelot Campus have joined forces to organize a Challenge Trilogy: a special series of three festive events developed to challenge the campus community to design a better future.
When bright minds meet, brilliant ideas come to life. That’s what we call chemistry. It’s what the world needs now, more than ever. You are cordially invited to attend the Challenge Trilogy and Festival ‘Feel the Chemistry’ to reflect on global challenges and the role science and innovation play in solving them, together with frontrunners from within and outside of our campus community.
In this third and last Challenge, experts from our campus community will give you a brief overview of the latest developments in biomedical science and innovation. You will get insight into new directions for biomaterial and biobased solutions. The progress being made in cell science and new therapies for our future health will also be shared with the audience. By the end of this very interactive event, you will better understand the hopes and challenges for the future of people’s health.
On November 24, DSM, AMIBM and Lonza, three tenants at Brightlands Chemelot Campus, will share their vision on future health in a pitch to be challenged by the audience. This challenge will also include an interactive panel featuring startup Medace, located at the Brightlands Maastricht Health Campus and Professor Lorenzo Moroni from Maastricht University / MERLN, who can bridge the gap between the materials and cell science worlds. We guarantee you will feel the chemistry!
