Zweit Veur Leid: running event
On Sunday 21 January it's time to strap on your running shoes for another Zweit veur Leid, Maastricht's charity run. This year's proceeds will benefit three local charities: Stichting LEFteam, Quiet Community Maastricht and Droom van Danielle. We're looking for some fearless runners to join the UM Team and get 2018 off to an athletic start!
Each year the course explores a different part of Maastricht, this year taking in the Belvedère district and starting and finishing at the Muziekgieterij. Choose an exciting 3, 6, 9 or 12 km course through the old and new city centres, where Maastricht's history and future come together.
Plus, what could be more inspiring than sprinting into a healthy new year together while giving back to the community? Costs of participation on the UM Team are €12.50 for UM students and €25 for UM employees. (UM SPORT membership not required!)
Sign up before 16 January through the webshop or at the UM SPORT reception desk and you'll also get a free UM Team 2018 shirt. We have space for 200 runners on our team, so don't wait too long!
