Upcoming elections Dutch Second Chamber
On March 8th a debate evening will take place regarding the upcoming elections of the Dutch Second Chamber on March 15th! This event is organised by the Master programme Dutch Law in collaboration with JFV Ouranos and will be presented to you by the Department of State and Administrative Law and the Montesquieu Institute. Speakers will be:
- Prof. A.W. Heringa – professor of state law at the University of Maastricht – on electoral law and the electoral system
- Em. Prof. J.Th.J. van de Berg – professor emeritus of parliamentary history and former senator – on representation
- Drs. P. Bootsma – PhD candidate of state law at the University of Maastricht – on coalitions and formations
The debate will take place in the Statenzaal (Room C.1.302, Faculty of Law, Oud-Gouvernement, Bouillonstraat 3) 20:00-22.00. Everyone is more than welcome to join – also those who are not studying or working at Maastricht University.
N.B.: the lectures and debate are in Dutch!
