From Maastricht, Suzie Nzekui is fighting for women in her home country, Cameroon. With her feminist women's collective and Master’s in Systems Biology and Bioinformatics, she is working to improve healthcare for women.

Following our initial notice on 4 May, we would like to share the latest information we have regarding the cyberattack on Canvas. The Canvas supplier has since informed UM that the attack also affected UM’s Canvas environment.

Last weekend, the provider of the educational software Canvas reported that user data had been stolen in a global cyberattack. UM also uses the Canvas digital learning environment. It is not yet clear whether the attack resulted in the leak of UM student and staff data.
