Jasper Brinkerink winner Best Doctoral Dissertation Award
At the FFI Global Conference in Miami, Jasper Brinkerink, former UM PhD student, supervised by Anita Van Gils, Yannick Bammens and Martin Carree from the School of Business and Economics, was awarded the best doctoral dissertation award in family business. The dissertation titled “Innovation Management in Small and Medium-Sized Family Firms: The Role of Family-Induced Differences in Attitudes and Decision Models” was unanimously selected by three independent jury committees to add most to theory and practice in this field.
