FASoS Faculty Board composition as of September 2026
As of September 2026, FASoS will welcome a new Faculty Board. Esther Versluis will take up the position of dean of the faculty. We are very pleased that Esther has agreed to take on this role and lead FASoS in the coming period.
Patrick Bijsmans will continue in his role as Associate Dean for Education. Since 2022, he has played an important role in developing and strengthening education at the faculty, including curriculum innovation and the establishment of the Teaching & Learning Hub. His continued role ensures valuable continuity in ongoing educational developments.
Darian Meacham will join the Faculty Board as Associate Dean for Research. Darian is Chair of Practical Philosophy and Head of the Philosophy Department. He brings extensive experience in interdisciplinary research and research leadership within Maastricht University and beyond, and a strong commitment to connecting research and education.
We would like to warmly thank Raf De Bont for his dedicated work as Associate Dean for Research over the past years. His leadership and contributions have been highly valued.
We look forward to the work of the new Faculty Board in the period ahead.
