Medicine
For FHML-Medicine (BA MED) students: If you are interested in one of the below stated minor programmes, please note that you need approval from you minor coordinator. Also read the information about the minor period on the Students Intranet.
All other students studying for a bachelor’s programme Medicine can apply for one of the following minors:

Please note: the application process for the academic year 2027-2028 takes place from 1 June 2027 up and until 30 June 2027 23.59 hours CET.
Except for the Educatieve Minor: you can sign up for this minor from 1 February 2027 up and until 31 May 2027.
Please keep in mind that some minors have a limited number of available places.
How to apply for a minor:
- You should apply via the Special Course Request procedure via the Student Portal. Please choose all courses of the minor you want to participate in or mention the name of the Minor programme you opt for in a note.
- Your request is assessed by your home faculty. After approval the request will be forwarded to the offering faculty who assesses if you can be registered (is there still place, do you meet entrance requirements etc.).
- After approval you will receive further information on the registration procedure.
Please note: Before your registration is final, your application will be approved by the examination committee of FHML. You must have completed your second year before you can participate in a minor.
