We should ‘future-proof’ as far as we can whilst accepting education futures are uncertain and fast-changing. We can identify curricula and modes of learning to prepare students for enabling Industry 4.0 graduates to fulfil worthwhile, sustainable, multiple careers and to become contributing citizens of globalisation 4.0 during their long lives.

About the presenter
Professor Gilly Salmon is an Adjunct Professor at Swinburne University of Technology in Melbourne, Australia, and a visiting professor at Edge Hill, Law, & Derby Universities in the UK. She publishes & presents on pedagogical innovation & transformation. Her books ‘E-moderating’ & ‘E-tivities’ are considered seminal texts. Her ‘Carpe Diem’ learning design methodology is extensively deployed internationally. She has 30 years’ experience, in universities in the UK and Australia.
