B. Franci

I am an Assistant Professor with the Department of Advanced Computing Sciences at Maastricht University. I am the coordinator of the GamesAI research area group, which focus on topics related to game theory and general game playing.

I received the Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Pure Mathematics from Universitá di Siena, Italy, respectively in 2012 and 2014. Then, I received my PhD from Politecnico di Torino and Universitá di Torino, Italy, in 2018. After the PhD, I was a PostDoc at the Delft Center for Systems and Control until 2021. I was awarded in 2017 with the Quality Award by the Academic Board of Politecnico di Torino for my PhD thesis.

My research interests are on game theory and optimisation and their applications. In particular, I work on Nash equilibrium problems under uncertainty, in relation with the energy market and Generative Adversarial Networks.
