"Outcomes of anterior cervical spine surgery: A Valorization"

This research focuses on comparing two surgical techniques, ACDA and ACDF, for treating neck issues caused by degeneration. The main aim is to investigate if ACDA, a cervical disc prosthesis, can preserve the natural movement of the neck in comparison to ACDF, which causes fusion. By studying the neck movements of healthy individuals, patients, and those who have undergone surgery, the research explores whether ACDA can prevent future spine problems. If successful, this approach could prove cost-effective in the long term, despite the higher initial cost of the implant. The study also highlights the importance of using rigorous methods to evaluate the cost-effectiveness of these treatments in spinal surgery.
