Second Growing Up in Science event @ Maastricht University with Robert Suurmond
What are the struggles that academics go through?
Growing Up in Science is a conversation series featuring personal narratives of becoming and being a scientist. In October 2020, the Maastricht Young Academy initiated a local chapter of Growing Up in Science at Maastricht University. The opening event with Rector Rianne Letschert was a great success.
In this second session, which takes place on 19 November 2020 from 16:00 until 17:00, Robert Suurmond will share how the COVID19 crisis affected his work, personal life, and the balance between both. Robert is a young assistant professor (tenure-tracker) at the School of Business and Economics (SBE), father and husband.
