8th edition of MeWeek 9-12 May
The largest entrepreneurship event of its kind in the Netherlands is opening its doors again on 9-12 May: the Maastricht Entrepreneurship Week (MeWeek).
The 8th edition of MeWeek is taking place under the theme ‘Make your Move’ and aims to inspire participants to take bold initiatives in the world of (social) entrepreneurship through a dynamic programme:
- inspirational talks of more than 20 top speakers
- workshops on the subjects of investor readiness or crowdfunding
- the Innovator Challenge
- the Limburg Finals of the Startup Pitch Competition of Get in the Ring
- pitch talks and 3DeepDive workshops about 3D printing in business
One of the main highlights is the Innovator Challenge on Wednesday 11 May, which aims to solve complex problems through entrepreneurial solutions. This year, the focus is on helping local refugees to start up on their own. Similar to the concept of a Hackaton, the Innovator Challenge brings together creative and innovative students that want to work on the next big thing.
The MeWeek is entirely organised by students, for students and professionals with an interest or aspiration in entrepreneurship.
