K.M.M. Peeters, PhD
Dr. Ken Peeters is a postdoctoral researcher at the Department of Family Medicine at Maastricht University, where he also obtained his PhD degree. He has a background in medical engineering. His research focuses on appropriate care and digital health with a particular interest in primary care. His main interest is in applications of artificial intelligence in primary care, Large Language Models, digital care applications, diagnostics and the use of routine GP data.
He is also involved in the Living Lab GP Care Horizon where he conducts practice-based research in collaboration with numerous partners. Furthermore, he is a guest editor for Nature Digital Public Health.
