Maastricht University ranked place 128th in the Times Higher Education 2019
Maastricht University is placed number 128 in the Times Higher Education World University Rankings 2019. Herewith the UM is the 9th Dutch University at this worldwide list, which has been published on Wednesday 26 September. In 2018 the UM was on position 103.
Times Higher Education lists its ranking according to 13 parameters in five categories:/ education (30%), research (30%), citations (30%), international outlook (7,5%) and industry income (2,5%). Maastricht University is a relatively strong performer on international outlook. However, the scores of all Dutch universities do not differ much. Minor changes in the results therefor can have a rather large impact for a position at the list.
