Opening Maastricht International Centre
On Wednesday July 20th, in the presence of the Mayor of Maastricht, Annemarie Penn-te Strake, the Governor of the Province of Limburg, Theo Bovens, and the dean of the Faculty of Law of Maastricht University, Professor Hildegard Schneider, opened the first international centre in Centre Céramique, Maastricht. The centre helps internationals by giving them a soft landing in our region, helping them to connect to the region and tackles the bottlenecks in cross-border mobility and cooperation.
Visitors learned about all aspects of the cooperation between the Cross Border Information Point (Grensinfopunt/GIP) Maastricht, the Holland Expat Center South (HECS) and the Institute for Transnational and Euregional cross border cooperation and Mobility (ITEM).
The opening took place in English.
