Reina Pasma holds a MSc in Biology and Environmental Studies from VU University Amsterdam (1986) and combines her job as an advisor and manager in local and regional government with work as an advisor and researcher at ICIS.
She currently is employed as Program Manager Integrated Regional Development Planning at Province Limburg and Municipality Maastricht. At ICIS she works on the concept and realization of an Open Sustainable Innovation Lab, connecting real world policy problems concerning sustainable development to science in regional knowledge institutions.
Former assignments are Project leader Transformation industrial ENCI-site to diversified business and nature area; Deputy Director Urban Development at Municipality Maastricht; Head of Research and Information at Municipality Maastricht; Head of Department Strategic Water- and Environmental Policy at Province Limburg.
