UM joins Digital Transformation Impulse Programme (Npuls)
Maastricht University will participate in the national Npuls programme that will officially launch on 1 May 2023. This new eight-year initiative follows up on the four-year Acceleration Plan for Educational Innovation with ICT that ended in 2022.
The programme aims at harnessing the power of digital technologies to enhance the quality of education. Participating institutions will collaborate on creating a joint IT and knowledge infrastructure.
All 113 vocational education and training institutions, universities of applied sciences, and research universities will participate in the initiative in collaboration with organisations such as SURF, the NRO, and other education and non-education partners.
If you’re interested in receiving regular updates, you can sign up for the monthly Npuls newsletter by selecting ‘Subscribe to newsletter’. The newsletter is available in Dutch and English.
At Maastricht University, EDLAB will be spearheading our university’s involvement in the programme. A dedicated team at EDLAB (EDICT) will work in collaboration with UM faculties and other units to seize the opportunities offered by digital technologies to improve the quality of education.
