UM Privacy Statement updated
Maastricht University (UM) periodically updates its privacy statement so that it is as complete and up-to-date as possible. The UM privacy statement was last updated on 25 July 2019.
The following changes have been made:
- the processing purposes have been updated
- information has been added about taking photos and videos
- under the heading ‘Retention periods’, a reference to the Basic Selection Document for Scientific Education has been added
- under the heading 'International processing' it has been added that UM can transfer data outside the EU if it takes into account appropriate safeguards pursuant to the GDPR
- the information regarding the exercise of rights under the GDPR has been updated
- a form facilitating GDPR requests has been added
- an overview of the specific privacy statements has been included in the general privacy statement.
