Keuzegids Masters 2016: CAST number one
In the Keuzegids Masters 2016, which was published today, the Research Master Cultures of Arts, Science and Technology (CAST) was ranked as the number one Arts and Culture Research Master in the Netherlands and received the quality seal ‘Top Programme’ with a score of 76 (same as in 2015).
This quality label is given only to those programmes that receive a score of 76 or higher in the Keuzegids assessment. CAST received particularly high grades for the content of the programme, the academic orientation and its job orientation.
This year’s ranking provided the Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences with other top 3 rankings as well. The Arts and Culture master’s programme (three tracks; Arts and Heritage, Art Literature and Society, Politics and Society) holds its second place for the second year in a row. Students particularly appreciate its teaching staff.
The master’s programme Globalisation and Development Studies holds its second place for the third year in a row.
The Research Master European Studies ranks third in the Netherlands. This programme received high grades for the academic orientation and the number of contact hours. Students furthermore appreciate the teaching staff.
The Keuzegids Masters rankings are based on student satisfaction scores from the National Student Survey (70%) and assessments by the accreditation organisation NVAO (30%). For more information on the assessment methodology, please visitwww.keuzegids.org/methodiek (in Dutch).
