Invisible protectors: how bacteria from nature can prevent allergies
In the Netherlands, more and more infants are suffering from allergies, such as asthma or eczema. Interestingly, this seems to be linked to our modern indoor lifestyle, which reduces our contact with bacteria from nature.

At NUTRIM, Niels van Best is researching how these natural bacteria can strengthen the immune system of young infants, and can help prevent allergies.
