Virtual Experience Day | Fiscal Economics

Because of the coronavirus, no in-person Experience Day Fiscal Economics on location in Maastricht.

Instead, we offer a Virtual Experience Day, including a lecture about the study programme by the programme coordinator him/herself,  practicing Problem-Based Learning with a small online tutorial group, a 360-degree tour, a talk with Admissions and a Q&A with students. Our Virtual Experience Day gives you the exclusive chance to find out if this programme is a match for you. We guarantee that after this experience day you know for sure if Fiscal Economics at Maastricht University is the right programme for you!

Who can attend?

There is limited availability on each day. To attend an Virtual Experience Day at SBE you should:

  • already have visited an Open Day at Maastricht University
  • have familiarised yourself with the programme
  • be in your final year of high school
  • plan to start your studies in the next academic year

Part 1 - Registration
Part 2 - Word of welcome by Mark Vluggen (Director Bachelor Programmes)
Part 3 - Video/presentation about Fiscal Economics
Part 4 - Introduction Problem Based Learning (PBL)
Part 5 -  PBL case in small groups (You need to prepare the case beforehand)
Part 6 - Admission requirements
Part 7 - Student & Career Counselling 
Part 8 - Live Q&A with current students, Admissions, Student and Career Counselling and Student Recruitment Advisor!

This will take 3 hours max.
