Sustainable buildings 2.0.: indoor climate and human performance

The research agenda on building sustainability is moving on to ‘sustainability 2.0.’. Where the focus of the initial research was on energy performance, the people using and inhabiting buildings are now getting center spot. Health and human performance in buildings is a topic in which Maastricht University is already establishing a leading knowledge position.

In his lecture, Professor Piet Eichholtz will share some of the latest research results, looking at productivity in office settings, health effects in homes, and learning outcomes in schools (lecture in English).
