Experience Day Digital Society 24 April 2019
An Experience Day allows you to experience what it is like to be a Digital Society student. You will attend a lecture and participate in a tutorial group, which will introduce you to both the teaching system and the subject matter.
Throughout the day, you will be accompanied by advanced students. Your guides will be happy to answer all your questions about studying and student life.
Experience Days are intended for pre-university grammar school students in their last year of study who preferably have visited an Open Day at the Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences.
The draft programme of our Experience Day is as follows*:
Reception with tea and coffee
Welcome and presentation on the programme
Problem-Based Learning presentation
Tutorial Group: you participate in a sample tutorial group in which you prepare an assignment (supervised by FASoS students)
Tutorial Group: second part of the tutorial group where you discuss the assignment (supervised by FASoS students)
Lunch and panel discussion: a panel of FASoS students and a communications officer will answer questions on the programme and studying in Maastricht
*If you register for the experience day, the final programme will be send to you via e-mail
approximately one week before the event.
