Elene Esiava (E.E.)
Elene Esiava is a PhD Candidate and Junior Lecturer at the Department of Organization, Strategy and Entrepreneurship at the School of Business and Economics, Maastricht University. Her research examines the adoption of artificial intelligence by firms, with a particular focus on the role of technological capabilities and inter-firm cooperation, as well as its impact on financial performance, productivity, and wages. Her research is conducted in collaboration with the Central Bureau of Statistics (CBS).
Prior to joining the department as a PhD candidate, she completed both her BSc in Economics and Business Economics (Finance) and MSc in International Business, specializing in Finance and Marketing (Cum Laude), at Maastricht University.
