She is a lecturer at Maastricht University in the Department of Advanced Computing Sciences (DACS) and an assessment advisor at the Education Support Office at FSE (FSE-ESO). There, she coordinates multiple semester-long Bachelor projects and is involved in teaching (e.g., Introduction to Data Science, How to Receive and Provide Feedback, Introduction to Computer Science at SBE).

Her background lies in Educational Technology. She did her PhD on "Computational Thinking Assessment in Higher Education". As a follow-up on her PhD thesis, research-wise, she is interested in educational technology, feedback and assessment in higher education, learning analytics, programming education, education innovation, and more.

Recently, she started to investigate PBL research. Here, she is interested in everything that improves PBL education (e.g., new teaching and learning activities or ideas for involving students more in their learning and facilitating their development of self-directed and collaborative learning).
