Spriha Joshi (S.)
Spriha Joshi is a PhD candidate in the Department of Advanced Computing Sciences (DACS) at Maastricht University, under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Anna Wilbik and Prof. Dr. Frank Thuijsman. Her research focuses on developing and evaluating techniques to enable data-driven policing targeting organized cybercrimes such as phishing. She is conducting this research in collaboration with Politie Nederland.

Career history
Prior to her PhD, she earned a BSc in Data Science and Artificial Intelligence (2021) and a MSc in Data Science for Decision Making (2023) from DACS. She also served as a Junior Lecturer in the AY 2023-2024, where she taught and/or coordinated several courses in both the bachelor’s and master’s programs.
