Partner with OSE
Connecting research, business and talent
At the Organization, Strategy, and Entrepreneurship (OSE) Department, we are convinced that some of the most relevant research questions arise from real-world challenges.
Our expertise encompasses organization, strategy, and entrepreneurship, with particular strengths in innovation, sustainability, digitalisation, leadership, human resources, change management, diversity, international business, and family business. We welcome partnerships with companies, government organizations, and other partners who wish to exchange and co-create knowledge, connect with talented students and researchers, or jointly explore organizational, strategic and entrepreneurial challenges in a changing world.
Partnerships can range from a one-time guest lecture or a student project to multi-year research collaborations. Together, we will explore which form of collaboration best aligns with your organization’s interests and our academic expertise.
Ways to partner with us
Collaborate on education
Connect with our student talent
Bring fresh perspectives into your organisation and meet the next generation of talent.
OSE is strongly involved in bachelor’s and master’s education at Maastricht University. Our department coordinates three master’s specialisations within the International Business programme:
Entrepreneurship & Business Development
Organisation: Management, Change and Consultancy
Partners can engage with talented and motivated students in different ways, ranging from real-life business challenges and research projects to thesis internship projects and recruitment-oriented activities.
For organisations, this creates an opportunity both to gain fresh perspectives on relevant challenges and to build relationships with potential future employees.
Share your expertise with our students
Bring practice into the classroom.
Our students benefit enormously from engaging with the people who make strategic, organisational and entrepreneurial decisions every day.
Business leaders, entrepreneurs and other professionals can contribute to our education through guest lectures, company cases, workshops, student challenges and other forms of classroom engagement. These interactions give students first-hand insight into contemporary business challenges while allowing organisations to share their expertise and connect with the academic community.
Exchange and co-create knowledge
Connect scientific expertise with managerial experience.
Not every collaboration needs to become a research project. We also welcome opportunities for direct knowledge exchange and co-creation between our researchers and organisations.
Companies can engage with OSE through workshops, expert sessions, seminars and other events around topics of mutual interest. These formats provide an opportunity to discuss emerging developments, challenge existing thinking and connect scientific insights with managerial experience.
Why partner with OSE?
A partnership with OSE can give your organisation access to new perspectives, research expertise, and a community of researchers and students interested in the challenges organisations face today.
Depending on the partnership, collaboration can help you:
- explore important organisational, strategic, and entrepreneurial questions through rigorous research;
- develop new knowledge together with academic experts;
- connect with talented and motivated students;
- contribute to the education of future business leaders;
- expand your organisation's knowledge network; and
- build a longer-term relationship with Maastricht University.
Responsible partnerships
Maastricht University is committed to ensuring that its research, teaching and collaborations are conducted safely and responsibly. Where relevant, proposed collaborations may be considered within the University's assessment frameworks for knowledge security, human rights and a fossil-free society. Maastricht University's Sensitive Partnerships Unit (SPU) serves as the central point of contact for questions relating to these frameworks and sensitive partnerships more broadly.
Have another idea?
Partnership does not have to fit into a predefined format.
The opportunities above are starting points. If you have a challenge, idea or form of collaboration that is not listed here, we would be happy to explore it with you.
Tell us what you would like to achieve, and we can help identify the researchers, students or partnership format that could provide the right fit.
